The yellow media in Andhra Pradesh is more confident of TDP’s victory in the coming elections than TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu. Quite interestingly, the journalists in the yellow media have already distributed their beats for the TDP government that would be formed after the 2024 general election.
The yellow media had been leading a campaign against the state government headed by chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and the ruling YSR Congress. The 20 pages of the print and 24 hours of the electronic media has dedicated itself to lead a campaign against Jagan Mohan Reddy, his government and the YSR Congress.
There is not a single day or a single page in print and single hour in electronic media that does not speak negative about Jagan Mohan Reddy, his government, and his party. With the fabricated news, the yellow media is celebrating the victory of the TDP.
What is more interesting is that neither Chandrababu Naidu nor Lokesh have such a confidence. Not even majority of the TDP leaders have such a confidence that the TDP would form the government in the state after the 2024 general election.
The enthusiastic journalists have distributed the beats – who should cover the chief minister’s office, who should cover Lokesh’s ministry and who should take care of the rest of the ministries in the TDP government.
These journalists also confident of the leadership qualities of Lokesh and they believe that Lokesh would be able to run the show, keeping Chandrababu Naidu as just a figure head in the government. It would be the Lokesh’s day out in the government as Chandrababu Naidu would not fit into the present-day politics.
Perhaps the yellow media journalists are more confident of Lokesh’s capabilities rather than Lokesh himself. They believe him more than Chandrababu Naidu, Bhuvaneswari and Brahmani. This is the world that the yellow media journalists are living in these days.
It is to be seen what they would be doing if the TDP loses the election and Jagan Mohan Reddy retains power in the 2024 general election!
