Vishwak Sen’s upcoming project, “Gangs of Godavari,” features Neha Shetty and Anjali as the female leads. Directed by Krishna Chaitanya and with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, this film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamshi and Sai Soujanya under the banner of Sitara Entertainments.
“Gangs of Godavari,” generated significant buzz with its initial release date set for the last week of December 2023. However, plans took an unexpected turn as the film got preponed to the first week of December, alongside other notable releases like “Nani Hi Nanna” and “Nithiin Extra Ordinary Man.” Unfortunately, the release date faced uncertainty, triggering a social media outcry from the lead actor. Vishwak Sen, expressing his dedication to the project, asserted that the film must hit theaters in December, even hinting at potential consequences for the promotional activities if delayed. In a sudden twist, the actor swiftly deleted the post, raising eyebrows and prompting speculation that producer Naga Vamshi may have intervened to maintain a harmonious front.
Officially announced “Gangs of Godavari” won’t meet its initial December 2023 release and is now set for March 8th, 2024, coinciding with Double iSmart. While Vishwak Sen revealed the new date through a poster, The unfolding of his active participation will only become apparent with time.
