Dark is a German science fiction thriller television series co-created by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese. It ran for three seasons from 2017 to 2020. It is one of the most watched TV shows. Dark is that kind of series where one should give his hundred percent interest while watching the show. There is no way where one can fast forward the show and get back to the scene which is intriguing.

Even if you miss a single scene you will lose connection to the story. The story follows characters from the fictional town of Winden, Germany. They follow connections between four estranged families that pass on to their generations in the form of a Time Travel, Different times, Parallel Worlds and Origin. The concept of the show is complicated. One should remember the characters well during its run or might lose the logic behind each scene. Dark is not everyone’s cup of tea as the show requires a lot of patience to analyze during its run. The beauty of Dark is it plays mind games with the spectators through its characters and once you connect to them then you are in for a treat. After Season 1 and 2 was aired, Many of its followers went gaga over the characters and their connections to the story. For example a character from one timeline meets the character from another timeline, Surprisingly both belong to the same life but at different times. Later when the series goes by even Parallel worlds and a surprise towards the end of the show leaves spectators awestruck.

Season 1 deals with the Time Travel Drama that starts with an unexpected twist and that breaks the knot for further twists and turns. In a single line, The mistakes where the characters make in the past affects the present and the same will be reflected in the future along with the present one. In Season 2 Everything Is Interconnected and it is loaded With lots of twists and turns that leads to a different world. Season 3 deals with a Parallel screenplay of the different worlds with an outstanding direction and a good background score. Unexpected twists and turns leads to a story where one could have not predicted the soul of its content until there comes the end Card where you will be left with a Masterpiece.

In simple terms, What We Know is a drop. What we don’t know is an ocean. The show justifies its line. The director’s name is Baran Bo Odar and his brain needs to be kept in the Museum. Dark is available on Netflix and most of the time it hits the trending list. Though it’s a German show, It is available in English as well. Do not miss it.
