vivo V30 and V30 Pro Set to Launch in India: Here’s What to Expect

Indian retailers recently put up posters of the vivo V30 and V30 Pro, hinting at an imminent launch. Now, vivo has officially announced that the V30 duo is “coming soon” to India. The brand has even set up a promo page on its official Indian website, teasing the launch of the V30 and V30 Pro.

The vivo V30 Pro will be available in three color options for the Indian market: Classic Black, Andaman Blue, and Peacock Green. According to vivo, these colors are specifically designed for India, with Peacock Green inspired by the plumage of India’s national bird, the Peacock, and Andaman Blue celebrating the vibrant spirit of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

In terms of specifications, the vivo V30 Pro will feature a triple camera setup on the rear, including a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera. The device will also come with a squircle-shaped flash called Aura Light Portrait.

Additionally, the V30 Pro will be equipped with ZEISS tuning and ZEISS Style Portrait filters, such as Biotar, Sonar, Cine-flare, Cinematic, Planar, and Distagon. These filters, previously seen on vivo’s X-series phones, will make their debut on the V30 Pro, marking the first time a V-series smartphone will feature ZEISS enhancements.

The V30 Pro will boast a 120Hz curved display with a centered punch-hole for the selfie camera, which will use a 50MP sensor. The smartphone will also pack a 5,000mAh battery for long-lasting usage.

While the vivo V30 Pro’s launch date in India has not been revealed yet, more details about its specifications and features are expected to be unveiled on February 28 when the device launches in Thailand.

On the other hand, the vivo V30 was unveiled earlier this month, so its specifications are already known. The V30 Lite, however, will not be coming to India alongside the V30 and V30 Pro.
