Varun Tej, after experimenting with his luck by targeting A-centre audiences through Gandheevadhari Arjuna and Operation Valentine, has shifted his approach for his next project. In the name of experimental cinema, he ventures into a rural action backdrop with the period action film titled Matka.
The teaser showcases promising glimpses of what to expect, with Varun Tej appearing in different roles. A particular dialogue from his matured avatar stands out, adding a special spark that makes it something to look forward to.
Directed by Karuna Kumar, the film features Nora Fatehi and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Matka is slated for release on November 14th, set to clash with Suriya’s Kanguva.
