They have no chair, how can they fold it?, asks Subba Reddy

YSR Congress MP-elect, Y V Subba Reddy, on Saturday said that the opposition TDP has lost its chair in Rajya Sabha. They are set to lose their chairs in the state Assembly and legislative council as well, he said. He wondered how they would fold the chair when they don’t have one!

He said that the downfall of the TDP had started with the 2019 general election, where the party was reduced to just 23 Assembly seats and three Parliament seats. In the three Parliament seats, there was one defection and there was one retirement from active politics. They have now just one MP seat, which is not sure of coming back after the 2024 general election, he said.

He said that people across the state have decided to send TDP back to pavilion and the TDP has no chance of coming back to power. The entire yellow gang would have to keep their mouths shut and accept their failure, he said.

He called upon the people to be carried away by the false propaganda of the yellow batch. He said that the yellows were in desperate mood over the expected results of the 2024 general election. They were spreading blatant lies believing that people would simply trust them, he said.

Subba Reddy further said that the people were cross checking everything these days. With android phone on hands, people were checking everything available on the internet and whatever the yellow batch tells them is proved wrong, he added.

The MP-elect further said that the Ra Kadali Ra programmes of Chandrababu Naidu and Sankaravam programme of Lokesh were proved to be a big flop. People were not coming to their meetings anywhere, he said. The TDP leaders were paying heavily for the people to turn up at these meetings across the state, he added.

Those who attend the meetings were also not waiting for the leaders to speak. The venues are vacated even before the leaders speak, he said. All this indicates the TDP’s defeat in the coming elections, he said.
