The GOAT crosses 300 Crores Gross in 5 Days

Thalapathy Vijay’s The GOAT is creating records at the box office despite getting mixed reviews on its first day. This actin entertainer, which also has some sci-fi elements, is attracting good footfalls and numbers at the ticket windows. Vijay has proved his stardom with this film once again. The GOAT has crossed the massive total of 500 crore gross at the worldwide box office.

Interestingly, the fifth-day collections of The GOAT are on par with Kamal Haasan-SShankar’s Indian 2 movie’s opening day number in Tamil Nadu. This proves how the Tamil crowd loves to watch Vijay’s film in theaters. Yesterday, the film crossed over 10 crore gross in Tamil Nadu, taking the total number to 120 crore. The film is expected to cross 200 crore in its full run in Tamil Nadu. Overall, The Greatest of All-Time has gathered over 300 crore gross at the worldwide box office, and looking at the current trend, the film is all set for a 400-450 crore closing.

Another exciting thing is The GOAT is the second biggest grosser of the year for South Indian cinema, standing next to Prabhas—Nag Ashwin’s Futuristic and Mythological Drama, Kalki 2898 AD. As there are no major releases from Tamil Cinema, Vijay’s film will be the first choice for the moviegoers.
