TDP, Jana Sena activists attack Minister Rajani’s office

TDP and Jana Sena activists attacked Minister Vidadala Rajini’s office in Guntur West Assembly constituency on Sunday evening. They broke the glasses of the office and tore the flexies set up in the office. The office was scheduled for its inauguration on Monday morning.

The Minister was recently appointed as incharge of the Guntur West Assembly constituency. She had set up an office for her to operate in the constituency. She had decorated the office for its inauguration.

Interestingly, without any provocation, the TDP and Jana Sena activists reached the spot and pelted stones at the office. The police who were watching it tried to stop the activists from attacking the office. The angry TDP and Jana Sena activists walked into the office premises and broke the glasses of the office.

They ransacked the office raising slogans against the minister and the YSR Congress Party. The police took at least 15 people into custody for the incident.

Minister Rajani said that the attack was planned and executed to insult a BC Minister. She said that it was an attack on the BCs, and it showed the respect that the TDP and the Jana Sena have towards the BCs.

She asked the BCs in the state to reject both the TDP and Jana Sena in the coming elections. She wanted the BCs in the state to reject the two parties for they have no respect for the BCs.

The police said that the activists came to the place in the guise of cutting a cake at NTR statue which was close to the Minister’s office. They opened firecrackers first at the office and then pelted some stones. Later, they physically attacked the office.
