The TDP activists in Tuni of Kakinada district were engaged in fisticuffs the other day as they met to celebrate the New Year. The supporters of Yanamala Krishnudu and Yanamala Rajesh engaged in fighting in the presence of former minister and senior TDP leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu.
The former minister organized New Year celebrations at Gedlabeedu village of S Annavaram in Tuni mandal. The supporters of Ramakrishnudu, his brother Krishnudu and daughter Divya were present on the stage.
As their supporters were greeting them, Yanamala Rajesh reached the venue with his supporters. Rajesh’s supporters continued raising slogans in support of Rajesh.
Rajesh tried to reach the dais bypassing the queue line. Angered at this the supporters of Yanamala Krishnudu stopped Rajesh and his supporters and asked them to come in the queue line. At this point Rajesh’s supporters pushed Krishnudu’s supporters leading to fisticuffs.
The supporters of both Rajesh and Krishnudu engaged in fisticuffs and pushed each other to the other side leading to chaos in the area. At this point, Yanamadala Divya left the scene leaving it to her father and uncle.
The supporters of Krishnudu and Ramakrishnudu drew away the supporters of Yanamala Rajesh from the scene. Rajesh felt insulted and also left the venue.
The supporters of the TDP leaders in various Assembly segments are fighting for supremacy. They are also indulging in fights within the groups casting a shadow on the electoral prospects of the party.
The supporters of TDP and Jana Sena are also engaged in fighting at several Assembly segments in the state. They are openly fighting against each other, creating tension in the segments.
