Samsung is gearing up to launch the third iteration of its mid-range Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet, named the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024). The tablet, which originally debuted in 2020, typically receives upgrades every two years, with this year’s model expected to bring some modest improvements.
According to WinFuture.de and its internal sources, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is set to receive a new Exynos 1280 SoC, replacing the older Snapdragon 732G/720G found in the Tab S6 Lite (2022). However, other hardware specifications are expected to remain the same, including a 10.4-inch IPS LCD display, 8MP main camera, 5MP selfie camera, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a 7040mAh battery.
In terms of pricing, the Wi-Fi only variant of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is expected to launch at €400, while the cellular-enabled model will be priced at €450. However, the exact release date for the tablet is still unknown.
Overall, while the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is not expected to bring major upgrades over its predecessor, it should offer a reliable and affordable option for consumers looking for a mid-range tablet from Samsung.
