The ruling YSR Congress party’s Samajika Sadhikara Yatra begins today in the three regions of the state. The bus yatra of the ruling party starts at Itchapuram in Uttarandhra, Tenala in Coastal region and Singanamala in Rayalaseema region.
The Ministers, MLAs, MPs and MLCs, besides the local leaders would participate in the yatra in the three respective regions. They would be meeting the SC, ST, BC and Minority voters during this yatra and explain how this government had helped them both economically, socially and politically in the last four-and-a-half years.
The Ministers said that the Jagan Mohan Reddy government had been working for the uplift of the weaker sections and neglected sections in the last four-and-a-half years. They claimed that the YSR Congress government had given nominated posts, MLC and MP posts for the weaker sections.
The development of schools and hospitals under Nadu-Nedu was also helped in the development of these sections, the ministers said. They further added that health and quality education was taken to the doorsteps of the people.
The ministers blamed the TDP leaders for using the BCs as vote bank, while the present Jagan Mohan Reddy government had been looking at the BCs as the backbone class. They blamed Nara Bhuvaneswari for her bus yatra and maintained that the TDP was playing every card to win the voters. However, they said that the people have become wise after the entry of the social media and they new the facts of every issue.
The leaders further said that they would explain to the people how Chandrababu Naidu robbed the state during his period. They would explain the scams of skill development, Amaravati inner ring road, fibernet and ask people to defeat the TDP in the coming elections.
