Sajjala highlights TDP’s impending decline in 2024 elections

Speaking to the media at the YSRCP headquarters at Tadepalli on Saturday, YSR Congress general secretary, Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy, emphasized the impending downfall of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in the upcoming 2024 elections compared to its the party’s performance in 2019.Sajjala called upon Chandrababu Naidu to address substantial issues affecting the people, rather than engaging in dance performances to entertain the public in rallies. He criticized CBN for allegedly spreading fear among senior citizens by claiming lack of government funds for pension distribution, highlighting the swift and successful completion of pension distributions, which reached 93% within just two days. “CBN is the one who stopped volunteers to give pensions at doorstep, but now he himself wrote a letter to the election commission for not giving pensions at doorstep. He doesn’t have clarity what he was doing,” Sajjala said.

Speaking about the Jana Sena party, Sajjala remarked on the lack of impact of Jana Sena candidates, except for Pawan Kalyan, stating that many Janasena candidates were essentially from the TDP party, with the Jana Sena party being utilized merely as a front.Furthermore, Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy countered APCC president YS Sharmila’s political stance, suggesting that she lacks a personal agenda and is merely following CBN’s directives. He posed several questions to Sharmila, including her sudden absence from Telangana, the status of her promises to the people of Telangana, and her seemingly scripted rhetoric. He also questioned the timing of her references to YS Vivekanda Reddy’s murder during elections, given her silence on the matter for the past four years.
