Realme, the renowned smartphone brand, is set to unveil its highly anticipated P-series lineup in India on April 15 at noon local time. The tech giant has been teasing the Realme P1 and P1 Pro, revealing their key specifications and design details through official event pages on its Indian website.
The Realme P1 Pro is positioned as a smartphone that offers the “Best Curved Display Under INR 20K.” This device boasts a 120Hz curved AMOLED screen with Pro-XDR support and Rainwater Touch technology, providing users with an immersive visual experience. Powering the P1 Pro is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, which Realme claims is the “Best Snapdragon Chipset Under INR 20K.” The smartphone also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support and will be available in Phoenix Red and Parrot Blue color options, with an IP65 rating for water resistance.
On the other hand, the Realme P1 is being marketed as the device with the “Fastest Chipset Under INR 15K,” which is the Dimensity 7050 SoC. While the P1 sports a flat design, it still boasts a 120Hz AMOLED display with an impressive 2,000 nits of brightness and Rainwater Touch technology, along with a fingerprint scanner beneath the screen. The P1 supports 45W fast charging, though its battery capacity remains undisclosed. The device features a circular camera island on the rear, housing a 50MP primary camera, and will be available in Phoenix Red and Peacock Green color options with an IP54 rating.
Realme’s introduction of the P-series smartphones in the Indian market is expected to disrupt the mid-range and budget-friendly segments, as the brand has a proven track record of delivering high-quality devices at competitive prices.
