Ramoji Rao has indigestion problem!

Eenadu and Margadarsi groups chairman Cherukuri Ramoji Rao seems to be suffering from indigestion problem these days. As general elections to the State Assembly are fast approaching, Ramoji Rao is becoming restless.

There is not a single day where Ramoji Rao cooks up stories against chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and his YSR Congress Party. Every page in the print and every hour in the electronic media has stories cooked up against Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He is becoming restless these days and seems to be suffering from the fear of TDP losing the elections. He wants and is going all out to get the TDP elected this time. His media house is working round the clock to ensure that the TDP is elected and the YSR Congress is defeated in the election.

He is going all out to see Chandrababu Naidu as the chief minister and Jagan Mohan Reddy out of the seat. He is unable to digest Jagan Mohan Reddy sitting in the chief minister’s chair. He is upset and even angry with Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The reason for his opposition has two issues – a caste-based feeling and Jagan’s activity against Margadarsi. The caste plays important role in his opposition to Jagan Mohan Reddy. He wants his own caste – Kamma – men to be in power and no one else. He is not ready to accept anyone other than a Kamma leader to sit in the chief minister’s chair.

The second reason is that Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government is raiding the offices of Margadarsi across the state. The registrar of chits and the CID are conducting the raids on allegations of various violations. It was alleged that Margadarsi had also been collecting deposits from the people against the Chit Fund Company rules.

It was also alleged that Ramoji Rao was not giving the chit amounts to the subscribers on regular basis. The allegations have been proved though Margadarsi and Eenadu groups obviously deny it. It is a known fact that Ramoji Rao does not follow any rule in force and believes that he is beyond any rule of the government.

With all these violations, Ramoji Rao is going against the chief minister and the ruling party. It is now to be seen how serious people would take his media reports. Will people accept him as they did in 1990s is the big question!
