Dhanush’s latest film, Raayan, is showing good consistency at the box office. The film has already become the highest-grosser in The Hero’s Career and is on course to become the highest-grosser in Tamil Cinema 2024. For 12 Days, Raayan has collected around 135 Crores Gross at the worldwide box office.
The film Raayan was released in theaters on July 26 in both Tamil and Telugu. Although it has garnered mixed reviews, it still performed well at the box office, as a significant portion of the audience has expressed enjoyment of the film. On August 6, the Tamil version achieved an occupancy rate of 15.17 percent, while the Telugu version noted an occupancy rate of 17.19 percent. In India, Raayan’s Gross number has reached 95 Crores.
‘Raayan,’ a crime drama crafted by Dhanush, showcases him in the principal role, supported by a talented cast including Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Dushara Vijayan, and Selvaraghavan in significant roles. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has awarded the film an’ A’ certificate. Produced by Kalinithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures, the film features a musical score by AR Rahman, cinematography by Om Prakash, and editing by Prasanna GK.
