Pawan loses three more Assembly seats to BJP!

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is made a scapegoat once again by the opposition TDP. The TDP had made Pawan Kalyan sacrifice three more Assembly seats in favour of the BJP as part of their alliance.

The Jana Sena was initially given just 23 Assembly seats in alliance with the TDP. There was hue and cry among the Jana Sainiks who aspired to see their leader as the chief minister candidate.

They were not happy with the party chief settling down for just 23 Assembly seats. They wanted more and Pawan Kalyan had warned them against asking for more seats.

He told them that he cannot demand more seats from the TDP as the Jana Sena did not win even a single seat in the 2019 general election. He said that the Jana Sainiks could not even elect him to the State Assembly in the last elections and hence have lost the chance to ask for more seats.

Now, with the BJP too joining the alliance and asking for more seats, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu had made Pawan Kalyan to sacrifice more seats. He was made to give three Assembly seats to the BJP in alliance. This had brought down Jana Sena’s share to 21 seats from 24 seats.

The TDP would contest 144 Assembly seats while the BJP would contest 10 seats. The TDP chief is making fun of Pawan Kalyan if one goes by the alliance talks between the two parties. In stead of Chandrababu Naidu giving the seats to the BJP from his quota, he made Pawan Kalyan, a junior partner, to give the seats.

The latest development in the seat sharing had lowered the image of Pawan Kalyan, not only among the Jana Sainkis, but also among the people of the state. While his supporters want to see him as the chief minister, he is settling down with the lowest number of seats in the alliance. One wonders whether Pawan Kalyan has any political strategy or is just going by the flow.

If this is the trend, it is doubtful that even the Jana Sainkis vote for the Jana Sena. They are upset with Pawan Kalyan giving his share of seats to the BJP, instead of asking the TDP to give from its share. What strategy did Pawan Kalyan follow in giving up his seats to the BJP is a big question even for the Jana Sena activists and supporters.
