Pawan Kalyan reads what Naidu writes, says Kodali

Former minister and senior YSR Congress MLA Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao (Nani) on Friday said that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan was reading whatever TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu was writing and giving him.

Speaking to media persons at Gudivada, Kodali Nani said that Pawan Kalyan had no agenda of his own. He started the political party only to fulfil the political dreams of Telugu Desam Party, he said. He further added that Pawan Kalyan’s agenda is to see that the TDP is in power. In return, he gets his money from the TDP, the former minister said.

Kodali Nani further said that Pawan Kalyan started the party in 2014 only to support the TDP. Though he had said that he started the party to question the ruling party, Kodali Nani said that Pawan never questioned the TDP when it was in power between 2014 and 2019.

In 2019 general elections, Pawan Kalyan tied-up with the BSP and the Left parties to split the anti-government vote and thus help the TDP to win the election. He tried to divide the anti-government vote during those elections to the benefit of the TDP, he said.

However, now Pawan Kalyan is seriously working to benefit the TDP. The alliance was not requested by the TDP but voluntarily offered by the Jana Sena, he said. He further said that the Jana Sena activists at the grassroots were looking at Pawan Kalyan to become the chief minister.

But Pawan Kalyan wants to see Chandrababu Naidu as the chief minister, Kodali Nani said. He also said that Pawan Kalyan settled for 24 Assembly seats and three Parliament seats, while the Jana Sena activists want the party to take at least 50 Assembly seats.

He also added that Pawan Kalyan was trying to convince his own party leaders to accept 24 Assembly seats in alliance with the TDP. He is even arguing that it was the Jana Sena strength and he is realistic, against the wishes of the Jana Sena activists, Kodali Nani said.

He sought to advise Pawan Kalyan to merge the Jana Sena with the TDP instead of doing slavery to the TDP. He said that Jana Sena activists at the grassroots were not ready to do slavery to the TDP as their leader does!
