The ACB court in Vijayawada had authorised the CID officials to produce TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu in the court on Monday. The court, which heard the arguments on the PT warrant had asked the CID officials to bring Naidu to the court on Monday.
The court gave this order in the fibernet scam case. The CID officials have filed the FIR and the PT warrant in the court. The advocates for the AP CID officials argued that Naidu should be brought to the court. The advocate wanted the court to hear the case in the presence of Chandrababu Naidu.
The CID advocate Vivekananda argued that Naidu should be brought to the court to hear the case and proceed further. The ACB court judge directed the CID officials to produce Chandrababu Naidu in the court between 10.30 AM and 5 PM on October 16. Naidu’s remand was earlier extended to October 19.
Meanwhile, the ACB court also admitted the call data petition filed by the advocates of Chandrababu Naidu. The advocates wanted the court to produce the call data details of the CID officials for two days before they arrested Chandrababu Naidu on September 9 at Nandyala.
The advocates for Naidu started arguing for Naidu in the case and wanted the court to give direction on the call data of the CID officials. They alleged that the CID officials were under pressure on the day they arrested Chandrababu Naidu.
