TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu expressed doubts over his security in the Rajamahendravaram central jail. He told the ACB court judge that he is a Z Plus security leader and keeping him in the jail has some security issues.
Chandrababu Naidu told the judge through a video conference that he is worried about his security in the jail. He said he is lodged in jail along with other criminals, whom he got arrested some time back when he was the chief minister. He expressed fear to his life about the presence of those criminals in the same jail.
The judge asked Chandrababu Naidu to give a written complaint to her on his security issues. The judge told the TDP chief to write all his doubts on his security on the paper and give it to her. She also told the jail officials to send the letter in sealed cover to her as soon as they receive it from Naidu.
The judge also asked Naidu whether the doctors were screening him everyday in the jail. He told the judge that doctors were coming to him and testing him. He also told the judge that the doctors were giving him the medical report every time they examine him.
Chandrababu Naidu’s advocate Dammalapati Srinivas told the court that the jail officials were not giving them the medical reports of Naidu. However, they were making the reports available to the APCID officials. He wondered how this was happening.
The judge told the advocate that the jail officials were giving the medical reports to her. She directed the jail officials to give the medical reports to Naidu’s family members as well.
The advocates also filed petitions seeking more mulaqats for Naidu in jail. They said that the mulaqats were reduced for security reasons. They wanted the court to increase the legal mulaqats to the advantage of Naidu.
