Marvel Studios continues its winning streak, maintaining the genius casting choices for superhero roles. Following the success of Ms. Marvel, the team delivers another impressive series with She-Hulk. The anticipation for further episodes is high.
However, She-Hulk takes a disappointing turn. While the initial episodes hold promise, providing a fresh dose of entertainment, the series lacks substantial content. It falls into a pattern of unnecessary cameos from other superheroes, losing focus on showcasing the journey of becoming She-Hulk and balancing life as Jennifer Walters. The finale is underwhelming, highlighting the absence of a well-structured script.
The series disappoints overall, particularly after a promising start. The Daredevil cameo is deemed a misuse, altering the perception of the superhero, especially for those who admired the original Daredevil series. While it fares better than Hawkeye, She-Hulk fails to live up to expectations.
An overall view of Phase 4 suggests that, except for Hawkeye and She-Hulk, the other series were good, with Moon Knight standing out as a standout favorite.

Secret Invasion kicks off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a rather disappointing start. The first episode fails to engage the audience, featuring a slow-paced plot that struggles to captivate. The initial scenes are dull and lackluster, making it challenging to sit through until the end. Hopes are pinned on the series picking up pace in subsequent episodes.
Secret Invasion shows signs of improvement after the halfway mark, evolving into a decent show. The decision to involve a comic character in the US-Russia conflict and the accompanying drama consumes a significant portion of the TV show, contributing to a lackluster experience in the first three episodes. However, the series gains momentum as the screenplay’s pace quickens, revealing the actual concept and turning into a more engaging experience.
The finale redeems the show, delivering a strong performance by Emilia Clarke and justifying her role in the series. Moving forward, there is potential for further exploration of this character. Despite a slow start, Nick Fury’s Secret Invasion ultimately becomes an enjoyable journey with a satisfying conclusion. The events in The Marvels are expected to continue from this point.
After the disappointment of She-Hulk, Team Marvel makes a comeback with a more satisfactory product in Secret Invasion, marking the beginning of Phase 5.
