Lokesh to revive Naidu’s Future Guarantee programme

TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh on Saturday said that he would revive party chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s mass contact programme of Mi Bhavishyattu Guarantee (Your Future Guarantee) programme on November 1. He said he would continue the programme keeping his own programme of Yuva Galam aside.

Chandrababu Naidu was arrested from his future guaranteed programme at Nandyal on September 9. He was then sent to Rajamahendravaram central jail for judicial remand.

Lokesh said that Naidu was on the roads promising guaranteed future for the people of Andhra Pradesh. Naidu was also holding the street corner meetings asking people to send chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy to the jail.

Lokesh said that he would revive the programme and continue it as it was planned earlier. He said he would also visit the water bodies in the state including the Polavaram project. He said he would sensitise people on the failures of this government and bring the people around the TDP.

He said his mother Bhuvaneswari would visit the families of those who died due to heart attack following the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu. He said his mother would also address the people on the illegal arrest of Chandrababu Naidu.

Lokesh said that he would resume his Yuva Galam padayatra once Chandrababu Naidu comes out of jail. He expressed confidence that Naidu will get bail and will start addressing the people across the state.

He wanted the rank and file of the party to gear up and work hard for the next five months to restore the TDP in power. He emphasised the need to bring the TDP back to power to restore democracy in the state.
