Jagan flays Opposition

Brushing aside the false propaganda of Opposition and its friendly media, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that his Government has brought in revolutionary changes in education sector which is yielding good results.

Addressing a huge public meeting at Chintapalli on Thursday, the Chief Minister said that the pro-TDP media has been churning out false stories publishing downgraded content as it is envious of the popularity of the Government and YSRCP.

Objecting to the spreading of false news in a section of the media stating that distribution of free tabs has been spoiling and corrupting the minds of students, he said while Government has been spending crores of rupees on educational reforms, the opposition and its supporting media have been slinging mud on the Government out of frustration.

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and his foster son Pawan Kalyan have been opposing distribution of tabs, he said and questioned if the children from the poor families are not eligible to acquire modern knowledge.

Is it justified if poor people are not allowed to join English medium schools while the rich boys are studying in corporate schools and acquiring knowledge of modern subjects, he said.

The Chief Minister asked the people not to fall prey to the false assurances of TDP and Jana Sena and said that the expected cost of their election promises would be three -times higher than the present welfare budget.

Between 2014 and 2019, Chandrababu Nadiu cheated all sections of people including farmers, the unemployed and self-help groups indulging in skill development scam, fibre grid scam, inner ring road scam and liquor scam, he said and asked the people to ponder over why the TDP rule failed to implement the slew of welfare schemes being taken up now.

While Naidu and his bandwagon were busy making money in scandals and pursuing the policy of plunder, stash and devour during the TDP rule, the present Government spent over Rs. 2, 40,000crore on DBT welfare schemes treating its election manifesto as Bible, Quran and Bhagavad Gita, he said, adding that the YSRCP is committed to the uplift of the poor.

Asserting that he only depends on God and people, he asked them to vote for the YSRCP in the next elections if they believed they were benefitted from the welfare schemes and throw out the TDP and Jana Sena which were embodiment of lies and malicious propaganda.
