Daggubati Purandheswari seems to be working more for the TDP than her own BJP in Andhra Pradesh politics. She had been giving statements more in favour of the TDP than the BJP these days.
One wonders whether she is working for the BJP or TDP. It is true that Purandheswari is related to TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu. She is the sister-in-law of Chandrababu Naidu. But the fact is politically they have been polls apart for all these years.
Purandheswari’s husband Daggubati Venkateswara Rao had written books against Chandrababu Naidu. He exposed Naidu as politician with criminal mind. He also exposed the corruption part of Chandrababu Naidu.
He tried to explain how Chandrababu Naidu cheated him and late N T Rama Rao in the August 1995 episode. He told people that Chandrababu Naidu is the most unbelievable leader in the state politics.
With all this background, how is Purandheswari supporting Chandrababu Naidu and dedicating her politics to help the TDP is a big question. It is also a big question to see the BJP national leadership to allow Purandheswari to work for Chandrababu Naidu rather than work for the BJP in the state politics.
