HanuMan Movie First Review: 1st & 2nd Half Review

Hanuman 1st half: Average

The film kicks off with a captivating introduction of the antagonist, who harbors an obsession with superheroes and goes to great lengths to fulfill his dreams. As the narrative transitions to a village setting, the initial showcasing of village life appears dull, but the film takes a compelling turn with a devotional touch that steals the spotlight.

Director Prashant Varma skillfully incorporates the devotional element into a typical village story, reminiscent of Sri Anjenayam and Krrish, creating a fitting ambiance. The interval shot and the build-up for the interval scene show promise.

In the latter half, the story is poised to take a different direction, determining the film’s overall outcome. Currently, it’s perceived as an average offering, influenced by its runtime and the inclusion of tedious love story and village scenes that might test the audience’s patience.

Commendably, the background score shines, and the sound mixing and CGI work are executed well.

Hanuman 2nd half: Below Average

Well, the director did impress us with the devotional elements in the story; however, the build leading to these scenes in a village atmosphere couldn’t generate interest. It not only gets boring but at a certain point, you feel hopeless until the special element of devotional touch gives the much-needed hype.

The usage of the antagonist in the film was not utilized well by the director, except for giving a good introduction at the beginning of the film.

The war between a supervillain and the man with devotion powers? Well, the face-off seems useless except for the feel of getting Lord Hanuman devotion.

Note: * It’s a personal opinion. It will not be based on it’s film run or the talk on the other side.
