Differences galore in Nellore TDP

The opposition TDP in Nellore district is facing several problems with the leaders fighting against each other. The differences came to the fore during the recent meeting of party chief N Chandrababu Naidu at Venkatagiri town.

Chandrababu Naidu held his Ra Kadali Ra meeting at Venkatagiri on January 19. However, it is said that the party senior leader Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy did not extend the invitation to the expelled YSR Congress MLAs, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy for the meeting.

The two leaders have met Chandrababu Naidu at the venue and complained to him against Chandra Mohan Reddy and another senior leader Beeda Ravichandra. They told Chandrababu Naidu that they were not invited for the meeting. They also complained to the party chief that they are not being involved in the party programmes in the district.

They told the party chief that they have come to the party with a great belief in democracy followed in the party. However, the things are different for all practical purposes in the party. Naidu himself called Ramanarayana Reddy for the meeting as he was told that he was not invited.

Sridhar Reddy requested Chandrababu Naidu not to give the Nellore Rural Assembly seat to the Jana Sena. He told the TDP chief that he would win the seat once again and giving the seat to the Jana Sena in alliance would close his political future.

He also complained to the party chief that he is also not being involved in the party programmes. Both Chandra Mohan Reddy and Ravichandra were not giving any information to him about the party activities. He requested the party chief to instruct the party local leaders to involve him in the party programes.

Later, Chandrababu Naidu reportedly called Chandra Mohan Reddy and told him categorically that he should involve both the MLAs in the party programmes. He found fault with Chandra Mohan Reddy for not inviting both Ramanarayana Reddy and Sridhar Reddy for the meeting.
