Big shock for Jana Sena in Pithapuram

The Jana Sena had a big and rude shock in Pithapuram Assembly constituency on Wednesday. Its senior leader, Makineedi Seshakumari, joined the ruling YSR Congress on the day. She met chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy at his Tadepalli camp office and joined the party.

Seshakumari contested as the Jana Sena candidate from Pithapuram Assembly segment in 2019 general election. She secured 28,011 votes in the election. She has a large following in the constituency.

YSR Congress regional coordinator P V Midhun Reddy and constituency incharge Vanga Geetha were present when Seshakumari joined the party. The leaders congratulated her on coming to the YSR Congress.

Speaking to media persons at Tadepalli, Seshakumari said that Pawan Kalyan had no clarity in politics. The Jana Sena too has no ideology, she said. She further said that people are not ready to believe Pawan Kalyan who keeps changing constituencies and statements.

Seshakumari said that whatever Pawan Kalyan speaks before the mikes would remain as speech and would not be seen as a reality. She said that Pawan Kalyan cannot be compared with Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Vanga Geetha who also joined the press conference ridiculed Pawan Kalyan’s call to her to join the Jana Sena. She said that the YSR Congress was asking for votes only on the basis of the welfare and development that they have done in the last five years.

She said that inviting her to join the Jana Sena exposed Pawan Kalyan’s ignorance of politics. If I ask Pawan Kalyan to join the YSR Congress, what will he say, she asked. She said that the opposition parties have come together as they have no strength to face Jagan Mohan Reddy.

She said that Pawsan Kalyan had no clarity in politics. She said that he says something today and says another thing tomorrow. He keeps changing his own statements, she said. Vanga Geetha asserted that she would win the Pithapuram Assembly seat by a huge margin in the coming elections.
