Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan had leaked to the media that he would be visiting the national capital, Delhi, on February 22. He would be holding talks with them on the alliance, particularly on the alliance with the TDP.
He had earlier promised that he would speak to the BJP national leaders and convince them to come for alliance with the TDP. He made this promise at one of his media interactions after his announcement on the alliance with the TDP.
He is now working hard to get the BJP also into the fold for alliance. However, the BJP leaders seems to be not interesting in going with the TDP. They have already held a meeting with TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu. The TDP chief met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi and held talks about the alliance. However, Naidu or his yellow media did not give any news about the talks till date.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan gave a leak to the media stating that he would be holding consultations with the BJP national leaders in Delhi on February 22. However, sources say that Pawan Kalyan’s visit to Delhi is yet to be finalised. None of the BJP national leaders have given appointment to the Jana Sena chief till date.
Sources say that the BJP leaders are also not interested in talking about the alliance with the TDP. Moreover, they are not ready to talk to Pawan Kalyan about alliance with the TDP. None of the BJP leaders are ready to take a political class from Pawan Kalyan. They are all political pandits and they don’t need any advise from the novice like Pawan Kalyan.
It is now to be seen what Pawan Kalyan would do in Delhi. Will he be able to lobby with the BJP national leadership in favour of the TDP is a big question. It is also to be seen what would he do if the BJP refuses to accept the tie-up with the TDP.
