Alia Bhatt’s Jigra’s trailer is out now. Touted to be an action drama, the film has already raised good anticipation around it with good posters and teasers. Especially, the teaser surprised everyone with its slick taking of action parts, and the trailer, which has been released today, took the excitement to another level. The makers of Jigra released the film’s trailer on social media on September 26, i.e., today, and the netizens are already going gaga over it.
The story of Jigra shows Alia as a daring elder sister who can go to any length to save his brother from a big life threat. The trailer shows the brother and sister having nobody but each other to depend on in life. One sudden day, the brother gets involved in a drug case and is seemingly sentenced to death sentence. Now it is up to the sister who goes under rigorous training to be able to fight with officials or anyone. Though the trailer has a lot of action parts, it also shows the emotional bonding of brother and sister with some intense glimpses. While Alia Bhatt plays the sister role, Vedang Raina, who was seen in Zoya Akthar’s Archies, plays the brother role in the film.
The makers used the old superhit song “Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka” for the teaser, and it received a positive response, and the song will be used as a background song in the movie. Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra is jointly produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions. The film will be released in theaters on October 11, 2024.
