After having its shortest-ever TV show, Echo, at the beginning of the year from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they are now coming back with a new series, Agatha All Along. The two-episode premiere is set to take place on September 18th.
Kathryn Hahn will take the lead as Agatha Harkness in this fantasy superhero show. It is a continuation from the initial successful Marvel Cinematic Universe show, Wanda Vision, which followed the events of the blockbuster film Avengers: Endgame.
In Wanda Vision, Agatha was portrayed as a powerful witch who sought to absorb Wanda’s powers, feeling that Wanda was unworthy of them. However, in the show’s climax, Agatha loses her powers and is trapped by Wanda in the town of Westview, New Jersey. Agatha All Along picks up from this point, exploring how Agatha escapes her captivity and who helps her regain her status as a powerful witch. The show will consist of nine episodes, with each episode releasing weekly starting September 18th, exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.
