Siddharth Malhotra’s Yodha is all set to enthrall audiences worldwide in another few hours on big screens. The highly anticipated action thriller Yodha was written and directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha and produced by Dharma Productions. The film stars Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani in lead roles. Additionally, Prime Video is one of the film’s producers, which means that the movie will be available for streaming on the OTT platform after its theatrical release.
The movie’s story is a mix of patriotism and commercial elements. Years later, following a failed crucial mission, the system is taken aback to discover Arun (Sidharth) on board under highly mysterious circumstances on a hijacked flight. Every piece of evidence points towards him being on a quest for vengeance against the system that took everything from him. The movie progresses to reveal whether Arun is a betrayer or the patriot his father (Ronit Roy) had hoped for.
Yodha’s theatrical trailer provided a glimpse into Yodha’s storyline. It introduces Sidharth’s character as a devoted soldier in the Indian army. The plot revolves around a bold mission to rescue hostages aboard an Air India flight, as depicted in the teaser. Despite his unwavering patriotism, the lead character is labeled as ‘Desh ka dushman’ amidst the turmoil. Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna also play significant roles in the film Yodha. Disha portrays a flight attendant caught up in the midst of all the chaos, while Raashii adds a romantic element to Sidharth’s love interest in the thrilling action sequences.
