Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha will be releasing on Jio Cinema. The movie was already made available on Prime Video and now, it will be available on Jio Cinema too, but there’s a twist. The viewers will be able to stream the film on Jio Cinema only for a brief period of time. Let’s get into the details.
Yodha will have its television premiere on August 11th 8 PM, i.e., today on Colors Cineplex. But the thing here is, Yodha will be out on Jio Cinema as well. However, the exact streaming date and how much will be the limited duration of its stay on Jio Cinema, is yet to be known. Yodha also stars Disha Patani and Rashi Khanna in the lead roles. Before Jio Cinema, Yodha was originally out on rent on Prime Video, but it came into the availability of every Prime member after a brief period. Siddharth Malhotra’s Shershah is also exclusively available on Prime Video.
Directed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre and bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Yodha is the story of an officer who finds himself in a plane hijack while he’s off duty. However, once he is involved, Arun (played by Sidharth) vows to bring down the terrorists. The film, also starring Ronit Roy in a crucial role, received praises for its action sequences.
