It is widely known that the latest film of Bollywood Star Hero Hrithik Roshan, Fighter, was released in theaters worldwide on January 25th. Considering the combination of Director Siddharth Anand and Hrithik, the trade experts and the audiences anticipated it to be a huge money spinner at the box office. However, despite receiving positive feedback from both the audiences and critics, the film Fighter was unable to collect numbers in the expected range.
The film had a decent extended first weekend, collecting 124 Cr Net in India, but after that, it crashed and went below the double-digit on Monday, which shocked everyone. From Tuesday, the film did not see many jumps and minor drops from Monday’s figure, 7 Cr Net. However, the film could score big overseas, becoming Hrithik Roshan’s biggest hit in North America.
Overall, Fighter did 140 CR Net approx in India for one week, and the Gross will be around 165 Cr. The worldwide gross of the film has crossed 250 Cr. If the film gets a good total over this weekend, it could cross the 300CR Mark at the worldwide box office. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, and Karan Singh Grover, among others. Before Fighter, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone have never worked together on screen.
