After working together on Ocean’s film series, George Clooney and Brad Pitt reunite for Wolfs, an action comedy directed by Jon Watts. The film was expected to be a theatrical release, and the release date was September 20, with a grand worldwide release, similar to Fly Me to the Moon, Killers of the Flower Moon, and Argylle.
However, the latest information says the film is going to have a limited release and that Wolfs may not even make it to some countries. The viewers need not be disappointed because the streaming date of the film is nearing soon. The Apple Original Films production will head to Apple TV+ only a week later, on September 27. As per the initial plan, Wolfs was set to be released on different OTT platforms 45 days after the theatrical release on TVOD and much later on Apple TV+. But the makers have changed the decision. George Clooney plays a fixer named Jack with a very specific skill set—make ‘problems’ disappear. A woman’s apartment sees a crime taking place, and Jack is called to clear all evidence of the same and cover up the entire scenario. Unexpectedly, this plan gets interrupted by a second knock on the door, followed by the entrance of Brad Pitt (Nick), who, as it turns out, is also a fixer with the exact same job profile.
So both men have the same handler and they are forced to work together. While the men are on their way to dump the dead body, they realize that it isn’t as dead as was thought and is carrying a very heavy load of drugs. The rest of the film shows how the clean-up job soon becomes a fight for survival for both the leads.
