TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu had been saying that the people of Andhra Pradesh are worried about chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s misrule. He says that people want the TDP to liberate them and the state from Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He claims that there were no industries to the state in the last five years and the liquor and roads were in bad state. He wants to set everything on the track, not just for power, but to develop the state. He is also saying that the TDP is fighting this election in alliance with the Jana Sena and the BJP not for power, but to develop the state, particularly Amaravati city.
Well, why are people worried about Jagan Mohan Reddy, Mr Naidu? Is it for bringing administration to their doorstep through the village secretariats? Is it for delivering the pensions and rice at their doorstep?
The old age pension has been increased to Rs 3,000 per month and the aged people, all pensioners are happy with it. They thank Jagan Mohan Reddy for delivering the pension at their doorstep, removing the hassle of going all the way to the gram panchayat office and standing in queues for hours together.
They also thank Jagan Mohan Reddy for delivering the provisions including rice at their doorstep removing the difficulty of going all the way to the ration dealer and carrying the heavy load. The aged people are thanking the chief minister for the facility.
Laksh of people are happy with this government for funding their bank accounts directly through various schemes. There are no middlemen involved and there is no need of any bribe to be paid for every scheme. They thank the chief minister for giving the money directly into the bank accounts.
And the liquor, who gave the GO issuing license to these brands Mr Naidu? Was it not the TDP government which had given licenses to these liquor brands just before the 2019 general election? Who is to be blamed for these liquor brands being sold in Andhra Pradesh now? Is it not the TDP and Chandrababu Naidu to be blamed?
These are not the 1970s or 1980 or even 1990s Mr Naidu. These are the days of the social media. People have the option to verify facts using their mobile phones. In fact, people are checking the facts every time the opposition leaders are speaking. They are also checking the facts whenever the chief minister addressed them.
No one can fool people these days. They have information at the click of the button on their mobile phone. The facts are on their hands and Chandrababu Naidu and the yellow media cannot fool them anymore!
