Where are Modi, Pawan photos in TDP posters?

YSR Congress senior leader and former minister Perni Venkatramayya alias Nani asked the TDP to show him the photographs of prime minister Narendra Modi and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan in the TDP poll campaign material. He said that the TDP had removed the prime minister’s photo in the combined manifesto of the NDA alliance in the state. Similalrly, the TDP had also ignored the photograph of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan in the TDP’s super six advertisements.

He alleged that TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu started cheating people. He started cheating his election partners, the BJP and the Jana Sena, in the form of removing their photos from the manifesto and the advertisements. He would cheat the people once the elections are over, he said. The former minister said that Naidu had conveniently ignored the manifesto of late N T Rama Ra in 1994. After Chandrababu Naidu became the chief minister from the back door, he conveniently ignored the promises of N T Rama Rao, the former minister alleged. He later said that Chandrababu Naidu had promised 25 lakh jobs to the youth in the 1999 general elections. However, this promise too was conveniently ignored after the elections, he said.

He said that Naidu had promised total loan waiver to the farmers, weavers and the self-help group women in the 2014 general election. However, after coming to the people, he ignored the promise made to the women and the weavers. Even for the farmers, he brought in scale of finance and extended only Rs 1.50 lakh benefit to the farmers, Perni Nani said. The former minister said that the TDP had lodged a complaint with the Election Commission against the involvement of volunteers in the pension distribution. Chandrababu Naidu’s loyalist Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar gave a complaint to the election commission against the volunteers, he said. Now, the aged people were suffering as the pension is not delivered at home. He said that Jagan Mohan Reddy would restore the distribution of pension at home for the aged and others once the YSR Congress formed the next government.
