It is widely known that Tamil Superstar Ilayathalapathy Vijay announced his political entry as he officially launched the party. The name of Vijay’s political party is ” Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam.” There were so many unconfirmed rumors on this issue for a few years, but finally, the star made it official on Friday, 2nd February 2024. The decision of Vijay received mixed reactions from his fans as some felt happy that he was progressing into a leader from a cinema hero. In contrast, some felt sad that they could not see him on screen forever after his political entry. One of the most talked about things after Vijay’s political party launch is the future of the sequel to his recent blockbuster, Leo.
“Leo,” directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Vijay in the lead role, became a massive blockbuster at the box office. Being the second film made by director Lokesh Kanaga Raj with Vijay and being a part of his cinematic universe, there was immense hype about it. Even with just average talk, the film has registered huge collections. At the movie’s end, there was a hint of the film’s inclusion of Lokesh Cinematic Universe, as the character Vikram calls Parthiban. But now the question has become whether the star will be included in LCU.
Vijay said he will not do any more films after his 69th film. We have to see whether Lokesh will be able to bring Vijay once again to his cinematic universe or not. Vijay is working on a huge movie, Goat (Greatest of All Time), with director Venkat Prabhu. The director of Vijay’s 69th film has yet to be announced, and there are names like Karthik Subbaraj and H Vinoth as the frontrunners for this massive project.
