Viswam, the latest action drama made in the combination of Gopichand and Srinu Vaitla, saw a good jump at the box office on its second day. The film was released in theaters worldwide on October 11, 2024, and opened to bad reviews from audiences and critics. Many believed this film to be the much-awaited comeback of the director Srinu Vaitla, who faced failures with his recent films.
On its first day, Viswam collected nearly 2 crore gross at the box office, and on its second day, it saw a good jump in the numbers as the film gathered 3 crore gross on Saturday, which marks the Dasara festival. In total, Viswam collected 5 crore gross at the worldwide box office for two days, and if the film is able to get more revenue today, it can have hopes on the theatrical run going further down.
Viswam also stars Kavya Thapar as the female lead, along with Jisshu Sen Gupta, Sunil, Bharath, Pruthvi, Naresh, Vennela Kishore, and VTV Ganesh, who appeared in the other crucial roles. TG Vishwa Prasad produced the film under the People Media Factory banner. RX 100 fame Chaitan Bharadwaj composed the film’s music. The film tells the story of Viswam, an anti-terrorist squad officer who has to save a girl from a dreadful terrorist and his men.
