The renowned actor and music composer from Tamil Cinema, Vijay Antony, released his latest film Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan (Toofan in Telugu) in theaters last month. The film became a failure in Tamil and Telugu versions. Recently, the movie’s Tamil version was made accessible for streaming on Prime Video and now the Telugu version is also available on the same platform.
Toofan is an action drama which was written and directed by Vijay Milton and Megha Akash played the female lead in the film. Toofan failed to connect with audiences during its theatrical run, and it will be interesting to see how it will be received on OTT. Apart from Vijay Antony and Megha Akash, Toofan also stars R Sarath Kumar, Sathyaraj, Dhananjaya, Saranya and Rithika Singh in a guest role. Vijay Antony composed the film’s music along with Achu Rajamani, Roy, Hari Dafusia, and Vaghu Mazan.
The film tells the story of a man who has a tragic past and dislikes the rain. He tries to settle in Andaman Islands and becomes close to a family and a girl. However, the man picks up a fight with a local gangster due to unexpected circumstances.
