Vettaiyan, the latest cop drama starring Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role, arrived in theaters worldwide on October 10, 2024, i.e, today. Though the film does not have as much hype as Jailer, Rajini’s previous movie, it still has a good craze among audiences and trade circles. The teaser and trailer hinted that the film will have a few Rajini elements, but it also has a strong emotional or intense narrative like the director’s previous work, Jai Bhim.
The inside report of Vettaiyan’s story is doing the rounds in the industry circles now. Reportedly, the TG Gnanavel’s directoril has strong violence, which includes sexual abuse as well. It is being said that some of the crucial scenes in the film will have elements like sexual threat and horror kind of scenes. The main conflict of the film is said to be with a group of people who opt to do ruthless criminal activities and a sincere and rough police officer who does not hesitate to break the rules in order to punish the criminals.
The film’s worldwide pre-release business is valued at 350 crore, and if it gains the requited positive talk, then it will be a cakewalk because of Rajini’s super stardom. Vettaiyan has a considerably low craze in Telugu states because of the bad title and weak promotions. The film needs to collect 30 crore gross in its Telugu version to attain hit status.
