Vettaiyan, the 170th film of Superstar Rajinikanth, is all set to be released in theaters worldwide on October 10, 2024. The fans are eagerly waiting for the film, and they are on high since the film’s release date announcement. Touted to be a Cop thriller, the film has been directed by TJ Gnanavel, who has worked with Rajini for the first time. As the film’s release date is nearing, the makers have announced the audio launch event’s date on Monday evening (September 16).
The makers of the film took to their social media accounts and announced that the audio and preview event will be held on September 20, 2024. The event is expected to be a star-studded and grand one, with all the stars of the film being present. Lyca Productions, the prestigious banner, is backing Vettaiyan, and the team also announced that the character reveals from the film will be out soon on social media. The makers will release two posters from the film every day, introducing the stars who play crucial roles in the film.
Rajinikanth will appear in the role of a senior police officer in Vettaiyan. The legendary actor and superstar Amitabh Bachchan will appear in an extended cameo in the film, while Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Abhirami, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, and others play crucial roles in TJ Gnanavel’s directorial. Anirdh Ravichander is the film’s music composer.
