It is widely known that Tamil Star Hero Thalapathy Vijay has decided to distance himself from the film industry and focus entirely on his political career. Before fully committing to politics, he will appear in a few films. One of these films is The G.O.A.T, directed by Venkat Prabhu, although there has yet to be an official confirmation regarding the other project.
There has been much speculation for quite some time now about the collaboration between Thalapathy Vijay and the renowned director Vetrimaaran, known for his influential films depicting social issues. During a recent event, Vetrimaaran addressed the rumors surrounding their project, and his statement might be different from what Vijay’s fans were hoping for. A fan-made poster recently surfaced online, claiming that Vetrimaaran would be directing Vijay’s final film. When questioned about this, Vetrimaaran shared his thoughts on the matter.
The director’s statement implies that the responsibility of obtaining information lies with the individuals involved in its creation. Although the director had previously developed a storyline for Thalapathy69, it appears unlikely that it will come to fruition. Consequently, Vetrimaaran will not be directing Thalapathy69. This statement from Vetrimaaran will definitely disappoint the fans of Thalapathy Vijay, but practically, the Hero and Director can’t collaborate now. The director’s attention is currently directed towards Viduthalai Part 2, a film featuring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in significant roles.
