Vedaa, John Abraham’s latest action film, saw a bizarre first week at the box office. Though the film had a positive start on day 1, it unexpectedly crashed from the second day and never picked up later. What is more surprising is the film is not even able to collect over 1 Crore net and the numbers have fallen into lakhs from the last two days.
According to the trade experts, Vedaa could only gather a disastrous amount of 25 lakhs on Wednesday, its seventh day. For 7 days, Vedaa collected 16.85 Crores net and nearly 20 crores gross at the domestic box office. This is a devastating box office performance from the film.
Directed by Nikhil Advani Vedaa stars John Abraham, Sharvari, Abhisek Banerjee, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Ashish Vidyarthi in crucial roles. Inspired by true events, Vedaa was released in theaters on August 15th and ever since its release, Vedaa struggled to get solid collections at the box office along with Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein. Both the films got completely dominated by Stree 2.
