The producers of the most recent Malayalam movie, Vayassethrayayi Muppathi, have officially announced that it will be digitally released shortly. This comedy-drama can now be streamed on Saina Play. Prasant Murali, known for his role in Ullozhukku, stars as the main character in this film.
The movie, released in March of this year, was made available on Saina Play starting at midnight on Friday. The protagonist, 37-year-old Brigeesh, continues to search for a spouse despite societal expectations of him being past the typical age for marriage. Each time Brigeesh seeks a partner, his efforts to get married and start a family are thwarted. Pappan Narippatta directed the comedy-drama Vayasethreyaayi Muppathi, produced by Ajayan E. U C Shiju, and Faizal Abdulla penned the screenplay. Prasant Murali stars in the lead role, with supporting roles played by Manju Pathrose, Jayakumar Parameswaran Pillai, Savithri Sreedharan, V Suresh Thampanoor, and Nirmal Palazhi.
Saina Play is currently showcasing the political thriller Higuita. The film stars Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Manoj K Jayan, Indrans, Vineeth Kumar, and Binu Pappu and was released in theaters on March 31 last year. Prithviraj Sukumaran’s highly awaited film of the year, Aadujeevitham, will be released on Netflix on July 19 in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada. Additionally, Suraj Venjaramoodu’s web series Nagendran’s Honeymoons will also start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on the same date. Directed by Nithin Renji Panicker of Kasaba fame, this project also stars Grace Antony, Kani Kusruthi, Shwetha Menon, Alphy Panjikaran, and Niranjana Anoop in significant roles. Pavi Caretaker, starring Dileep, will be accessible on Manorama Max starting next Friday (July 26).
