Marvel Studios is gearing up for a thrilling lineup of movies in Phases 5 and 6, promising to captivate audiences with new adventures and characters. Here’s a glimpse of the next seven releases that fans can look forward to:
Deadpool & Wolverine – July 26, 2024: This movie will mark the MCU debut of Deadpool, played by Ryan Reynolds, alongside Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine. Expect a Multiversal adventure with cameos from past Fox characters and surprises from the MCU.
Captain America: Brave New World – February 14, 2025: Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson takes on the mantle of Captain America in this film, featuring Harrison Ford’s MCU debut as General “Thunderbolt” Ross and new Falcon-related characters.
Thunderbolts – May 2, 2025: This ensemble film brings together morally flexible MCU characters like Yelena Belova, Winter Soldier, and U.S. Agent, with Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina. Look out for new character introductions, including Sentry.
The Fantastic Four – July 25, 2025: One of the most anticipated projects, this film will not be an origin story but will feature Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, and others as Marvel’s First Family facing off against Galactus.
Blade – November 7, 2025: Mahershala Ali stars in this R-rated MCU film, facing off against Mia Goth’s Lilith in a vampire epic.
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty – May 1, 2026: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes confront Kang the Conqueror, with the recasting of Jonathan Majors currently underway.
Avengers: Secret Wars – May 7, 2027: The Multiverse Saga concludes with this highly anticipated Avengers blockbuster, featuring a rumored return of X-Men, Spider-Man, and Fantastic Four characters.
In addition to these seven films, Marvel Studios has several other projects in development, including “Armor Wars,” “Spider-Man 4,” “Shang-Chi 2,” “Eternals 2,” and “Doctor Strange 3,” with unannounced projects scheduled for 2026.
