Mammootty enthralled his fans with his mass appearance in Turbo, the thrilling action-packed film released in May 2024. This movie served as a reunion for the renowned actor and filmmaker Vysakh and achieved tremendous success at the box office. Mammootty portrayed the protagonist Turbo Jose in this production, which was produced under his own banner, Mammootty Kampany. Excitingly, Turbo is now preparing for its upcoming release on the popular OTT platform Sony LIV.

According to the latest reports, Sony LIV has acquired the OTT rights for Turbo at a significant price. Rumors indicate that this deal marks the largest OTT agreement for Mammootty Kampany. While the producers have not confirmed the official release date for Turbo on OTTTurbo’s OTT rights, the film starring Mammootty will likely premiere on the streaming platform in early July 2024. In the meantime, rumors are circulating about selling satellite rights for the film starring Mammootty and directed by Vysakh. Zee TV has acquired Turbo’s streaming rights at an unprecedented price. Recent reports indicate that this blockbuster film is preparing for its world television premiere on Zee Malayalam, most likely during the Onam season of 2024. Fans anticipate an official announcement regarding this matter shortly.

Turbo Jose, also known as Aruvipurathu Jose, is the central character in the movie Turbo. Due to an issue involving his friend Jerry and a girl named Indhulekha, Turbo Jose is compelled to move to Chennai. However, his troubles continue as he finds himself on the wrong side of Vetrivel Shamugha Sundaram, a local gangster. Mammootty portrays the role of Jose, while Raj B Shetty takes on the character of Vetrivel. Supporting roles are played by Shabareesh Varma, Anjana Jayaprakash, Bindu Panicker, Kabir Duhan Singh, Niranjana Anoop, and others. The film’s music is composed by Christo Xavier, and Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films distribute it.
