Tough time continues for Uppena Beauty

It is widely known that the luck factor plays a crucial role in Movie Industries. A superhit movie can make you an overnight star; one bad film will get you back on the blocked road. Young actress. Krithi Shetty had a remarkable entry into the film industry with her role as Bebamma in Uppena, instantly capturing the hearts of millions. Her pure and innocent visage and exceptional acting prowess garnered immense admiration from the Telugu audience, establishing her as a potential leading lady in Tollywood. Although her subsequent performances in Shyam Singha Roy and Bangarraju were commendable, she faced a string of disappointments with films like The Warriorr, Macherla Niyojakavargam, and Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali.

Regrettably, Manamey, her most recent film, falls within the same classification. Leaving aside the movie’s box office performance, it did not contribute to Krithi’s career in any way, as her character could have been better written. Despite her endeavors, the inadequately written roles hindered her ability to excel. Manamey was perceived as an opportunity for her to make a comeback, yet it failed to leave a significant impact. Although she appeared visually appealing, her character and performance could not leave a lasting impression.

Krithi currently does not have any Telugu films in her pipeline. She has transitioned to the Malayalam and Tamil film industries, where she has upcoming projects with Tovino Thomas and Jayam Ravi. These projects hold immense potential for Krithi, and we can’t help but feel excited about the new avenues they might open for her. It is our wish that Krithi secures more substantial roles in Tamil and Malayalam cinema, and eventually makes a strong comeback to the Telugu industry with a powerful film.
