Tiger Nageswara Rao becomes the first film to be released in this format

After wrapping up his ongoing project, “Mr Bachchan,” Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is ready to captivate his fans with yet another thrilling film. This time, his 75th venture will be helmed by debutant director Bhanu Bogavarapu and supported by the renowned production house Sithara Entertainments. Meanwhile, his Pan-Indian film Tiger Nageswar Rao became the first film to be released in Indian Sign Language on the OTT Platform (Prime Video).

Undoubtedly, Ravi Teja’s film Tiger Nageswara Rao’ has made a significant impact. By releasing the film in Indian Sign Language (ISL) on OTT platforms, it has taken a giant leap towards inclusivity and accessibility in the Indian film industry. This groundbreaking move not only makes the film accessible to the deaf and hard-of-hearing community but also provides them with the opportunity to enjoy mainstream cinema in their native sign language. It’s a proud moment for the industry, setting a precedent for other filmmakers and platforms to consider similar releases, and promoting a more inclusive entertainment landscape.

Tiger Nageswara Rao, a film based on true rumors, features a star-studded cast including Ravi Teja, Anupam Kher, Renu Desai, Jisshu Sengupta, Murali Sharma, and leading ladies Gayatri Bhardwaj and Nupur Sanon. The team left no stone unturned in promoting the film across India, with a special focus on the northern region. This pan-Indian movie, directed by Vamsee and produced by Abhishek Agarwal under the banner of Abhishek Agarwal Arts, hit theaters on October 20, 2023. However, despite the aggressive promotions in the North, the Hindi Version of the film unfortunately failed to meet expectations, disappointing everyone involved. The film’s underperformance can be attributed to its release date and runtime issues.
