I happened to see the Mathu Vadalara franchise after the high buzz, and I am not that impressed with it. While the first half of both parts has been an average ride, the film picks up after the break with notable twists and features a convincing and satisfying climax.
If not for Actor Satya, I might not have given it a chance. His comedic timing has peaked, but considering the buzz around his role as ‘Yesudas,’ I feel he has delivered even better performances in other films.
Since Satya’s role significantly impacts the storylines of both parts of Mathu Vadalara, his performance was particularly noticeable. Athulya Chandra’s role in Part 1 and Faria Abdullah’s role in Part 2 were both impressive as well.
