The GOAT: Thalapathy film goes for Re-Censor

In an interesting turn of events, The GOAT — The Greatest of All Time, the upcoming film by Thalapathy Vijay went for a re-censor. Made as an action thriller, the film is the 68th film in Vijay’s career and his second last movie before he enters full-time politics. The GOAT had completed its censor formalities recently and received a U/A Certificate. However, the latest reports suggest that the film got censored again.

It is being said that because of the addition of some extra footage, the team of The GOAT went through the censor procedures once again. The extra footage will reportedly appear at the end credits of the film. Because of this, the runtime of The GOAT has been lengthened. Venkat Prabhu’s directorial has a runtime of 3 hours and 3 minutes. The director also informed in the latest media interaction that The Greatest of All Time is based on a fictional anti-terrorist wing of RAW, named SATS. The older members of SATS come together to fight with a big danger. Thalapathy Vijay appears as the leader of this old group while Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and Ajmal Ameer will be seen as his teammates.

Vijay also did a double action in the film, and he will appear as a father and son. Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary show up as the female leads while Jayaram, Mohan, Laila, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaran, Vaibhav, Yugendran, and others play the supporting roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer of the film.
