The Fable is a thrilling anime that follows the journey of a skilled assassin known as Fable, renowned for his merciless methods, within the criminal underworld. However, this proficient killer receives an unexpected directive from a notorious crime boss, commanding him to abstain from taking any lives for an entire year. This fresh arrangement marks a pivotal moment for the “hired assassin” as he endeavors to adapt to his altered existence, all the while grappling with his inherent inclination for taking lives. He decides to move to Osaka and strives to rein in his irrational tendencies in order to assimilate into the unfamiliar routine. Ryōsuke Takahashi leads the series as the director, while Tezuka Productions supervises the animation. The Fable showcases a talented group of voice actors.
